These terms govern your use of Checkout Rescue (“the app”), a Shopify app operated by Talivio Technology OÜ (Estonian registry code 16991406), Ahtri tn 12, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 15551, Estonia (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.
Checkout Rescue scans a Shopify store for checkout and order-status scripts affected by Shopify's August 26, 2026 checkout extensibility deadline, classifies them, and — as a one-time paid rescue package — generates replacement web pixel code and, where supported, installs it in your store automatically. The app is a business tool for Shopify merchants; it is not intended for consumers.
The scan and classification are automated and based on known script patterns. They may miss scripts, misclassify them, or produce replacement code that does not exactly reproduce your previous tracking behaviour. Results are provided to support your own migration decisions; they are not legal, tax or compliance advice, and they do not guarantee that your store will be unaffected by the deadline.
The scan is free. The rescue package is a one-time fee, shown in the app before you confirm the purchase and charged through Shopify's billing system on your Shopify invoice. Except where required by law or by Shopify's own policies, fees are non-refundable once the rescue package has been unlocked.
The app runs on and depends on the Shopify platform, its APIs and its published timelines (including the August 26, 2026 deadline), all of which are controlled by Shopify and may change without notice. We are not responsible for Shopify's availability, for changes Shopify makes to its platform, APIs, deadlines or policies, or for the analytics vendors your web pixels send data to.
You may not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, use it to process content you have no right to use, or use it in breach of applicable law or Shopify's terms.
We own the app and its content, including the conversion patterns it uses. You retain ownership of the script content you paste in; you grant us the rights needed to store and process it to provide the service. You may use the web pixel code the app generates for your own store without restriction.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation and without any other warranty, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talivio Technology OÜ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost tracking or analytics data, or losses caused by scripts that stopped working on Shopify's deadline. Our total aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred euros (EUR 100) if you used the app free of charge. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including liability for intent (wilful misconduct) or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under mandatory consumer-protection law.
You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Data handling on uninstall is described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The courts of Estonia (Harju County Court / Harju Maakohus, Tallinn) have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence or establishment that cannot be derogated from by agreement.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
